I have had a passion for fitness and wellness since high school. I believe in a holistic view of wellness and creating a healthy, balanced lifestyle through proper nutrition and incorporating a variety of exercise types. Some of my favorites are group fitness classes like Zumba and TurboKick, running, strength training, and yoga. I love taking advantage of all the fun things to do in Austin, TX. I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
As an undergraduate, I participated in a group fitness instructor training course and also became a personal trainer. I went on to pursue a Fitness & Wellness Graduate Assistantship, graduating with a Masters in Nutrition and Exercise Science in 2008. I have been fortunate to work in campus recreation, commercial gyms, and corporate wellness which has allowed me to work with a variety of different clients.
